Favorite Products of 2017

I'm back in action!  It feels good to start 2018 with a blog post reflecting on my favorites of last year.  As many of you know, I was on maternity leave at the end of 2017 and I have to say, my daughter is definitely my number one favorite of last year.  That's a given, right? Besides her, here are a few of my go-to products from 2017.

Persona Cosmetics Identity Palette

I've been following Simply Sona on Youtube and Instagram for a long time.  I'm obsessed with her makeup looks!  She started her own company last year and created the Identity Palette- 12 shades perfect (but not only) for brown eyes: 6 mattes and 6 shimmers.  And each pigment name?  Perfection. I have not used another eye shadow palette since I bought this.  Check out a close up of these beautiful, buttery shades:

Lipsense in Roseberry

I am not one to wear a lot of makeup. However, when I do wear it, I end up going natural.  Although I love the way lip color looks, I hate being self conscious about it bleeding or rubbing off or getting on my teeth.  Lipsense doesn't do that which is perfect.  Roseberry is my color of choice. I love Lipsense so much that we are not carrying it at Dermasweet!

Pevonia's YouthRenew Tinted Cream SPF 30

This has been my go-to everyday "makeup".  It feels amazing on the skin and helps tone down my redness.  I love tinted moisturizers with SPF.  They protect against UVA/UVB rays while evening out skin tone with anti-aging effects.

Pevonia's EyeRenew Conceal & De-Age

Being a new mom, many of you can probably imagine the lack of sleep I've experienced.  This instantly makes me look more awake.  It also has marine collagen to help slow the aging process and hyaluronic acid for hydration.

Image Skincare's Ageless Eye Cream

Going back to those tired eyes, I use this cream at night to prevent those fine lines and dark circles.

Native Deodorant

This is LIFE CHANGING.  I have spent years looking for a good, natural deodorant that actually works.  I've tried: Tom's, Schmidt's, Primal Paste, EOS, Malin+Goetz, Jason, and  SO many others.  I bought a 3 pack to try different scents: coconut & vanilla (the one I'm currently using), lavender & rose, and unscented.  The scent stays, no bad body odor, and its super nourishing for the skin.  It's aluminum free, paraben free, phthalate free and talc free!

There you have it!  I hope this helps those that are in the market for any of these categories.
